Introducing a revolutionary new product specifically designed and manufactured to meet the needs of utilities and communities struggling to deal with water shortages: The 98 Series Advanced Pressure Management Valve (PMV) . The valve automatically adjusts pipeline pressure based on system demand to conserve water, reduce the incidence of pipe breaks and minimize background leakage, without any external devices such as orifice plates, meters or SCADA communication. In the event there is a sudden increase in demand, such as for fire flow, the valve automatically adjusts pressure to the system’s maximum set point and then lowers it when demand decreases.
Simple, affordable, durable and reliable, Cla-Val Advanced Pressure Management Valves are on the cutting edge of water conservation technology.
Cla-Val Series DB Duckbill Check Valves are a flexible sleeve design made of top quality fabric reinforced elastomer materials for maximum resistance to corrosion and wear caused by continuous operation with abrasive slurries, sludge or effluent. The Duckbill check valve allows materials to flow through the valve and then prevents it from returning to its source. Four inlet connection styles are available including flanged, slipover, insert and jacket, in a wide variety of elastomer choices.
In use for over 100 years in waterworks applications, the duckbill concept is commonly accepted for use in industrial process piping systems, waste and storm water piping, and sewer piping systems.
Introducing the D-3 Swivel Inlet for Cla-Val Model 341GF Nozzles for fuselage and underwing refueling
Introducing the D-3 Swivel Inlet for Cla-Val Model 341GF Nozzles for fuselage and underwing refueling. The D-3s dual swivel action enables it to convert from a 45° elbow (D-1) to a straight-through (D-2) inlet, eliminating the need for two types of nozzles. The D-3 helps to prevent excessive wear on hoses and is backed by the assurance of quality and performance you have come to expect from Cla-Val.
Introducing the new Cla-Val H-Strainer Model X43-H
Introducing the new Cla-Val H-Strainer Model X43-H: The new Cla-Val Model X43-H Strainer provides added "insurance" for automatic control valves in critical applications
The H Strainer is an ideal solution for protecting valves in applications where there is a high incidence of debris in the line and is particularly beneficial when used in combination with Cla-Val KO Anti-Cavitation or Roll Seal valves. Introducing the New Cla-Val Model 347GF Fueling Nozzle for Small and Regional Aircraft
The Cla-Val 347GF Nozzle, with six-slot connection, is designed to maximize aircraft refueling safety, featuring an internal interlock system that is fully contained within the nozzle. Its lightweight and compact design provides easy connection to aircraft adapters, even private and regional jets with small refueling compartments.
Patent is Granted for Cla-Val KO Anti-Cavitation Trim
October 2006 -- We are pleased to announce that a US Patent has been granted for Cla-Val's innovative product, KO Anti-Cavitation Trim. Valves with KO trim have become the standard in valves used in water distribution pipelines and fire protection systems. For more information click on the link or type KO in the Search field.
Introducing the Cla-Val Titanium Deluge Valve
We are pleased to announce the addition of the all-new Titanium Deluge Valve, Model Ti 100GS, to our extensive line of offshore fire protection and marine product offerings.br> The two most useful properties of titanium (Ti) are corrosion resistance, and the highest strength-to-weight ratio of any metal. In its unalloyed condition, titanium is as strong as steel, but 45% lighter.
Available in sizes from 3" through 6", Cla-Val's Titanium Deluge Valve is ideal for fire protection applications where there is exposure to seawater or chlorine. Other sizes will be available in the near future.
Introducing the Nickel Aluminum Bronze Two-Door Check Valve
We are pleased to announce the addition of the all-new Two-Door Check Valve (Model 582SWS) constructed of nickel aluminum bronze to our extensive line of offshore fire protection and marine product offerings.
Because it is constructed of highly corrosion resistant nickel aluminum bronze, the valve is especially well suited for seawater applications. Its short face-to-face configuration makes it lightweight and compact.
Model 582SWS is available in sizes 6" through 24". Additional sizes will be added to the product line in the near future.
