FLOAT CONTROL

Function

The float control shall be a float-actuated, multi-port pilot control that provides non-modulating, two position, on-off operation.


Description

The control shall be comprised of an arm-actuated rotary disc, plate-type multi-port valve capable of remotely actuating one or more diaphragm-type valves or other remote operators. The control shall be able to supply, maintain, or relieve pressure from the actuating chamber of the remote valve or operator. The control shall be self lubricating and securely mounted on an enameled steel base plate.

A bracket fitted with a counter lever, pivot shaft and counter weight shall also be mounted to the base plate above the pilot control. The actuating arm of the plate-type valve and the counter weight arm shall be connected by a common link to which the float rod and float are attached.

The float rod shall be of PVC (or other) material and extendible in 12" increments to a length of eleven and a half feet. The float shall be of polypropylene (or other) construction and designed to operate with equal force in either upward or downward travel.

Level differential adjustments shall be possible between 1" minimum and 19" maximum. The CF1-C1 float control shall be operable at pressure up to 300 PSI. Standard materials in contact with the operating fluid shall be brass, stainless steel, monel, with Buna-N Seals.
